On July 19, 2025, Yakap sa Mamamayan or Yaman Advocacy Cooperative cooperators attended a required pre-registration seminar for registration.
Atty. Jez Cuevas-Mercado, a cooperative development specialist in National Capital Region (NCR), led the online seminar that talked about the principles of cooperative, the power of cooperativism, and how the group can move forward.
Should Yaman finish the registration process, it’s going to be the only advocacy cooperative in Pasig City and one of a few in the entire Metro Manila.
Yaman hopes to have a one wealthy nation advocating for poverty alleviation through training and education. Founded by Asian Filipino motivational speaker and author Lloyd Luna, the group looks forward to serving not only its membership but the general public as a matter of the Cooperative’s purpose.
