2025 is the International Year of Cooperatives, as declared by the United Nations. This designation aims to highlight the significant role cooperatives play in sustainable development, poverty reduction, and inclusive economic growth.
The year’s theme is “Cooperatives Build a Better World”.
The year presents an opportunity to showcase the good practices of cooperative enterprises and inspire further collaboration within the cooperative movement.
